Weights and aerobic excercise activity no longer tracking.  Was tracking both, but 2 days ago stopped tracking aerobic activity and only tracking weights and steps now

Welcome to the Forums @Sherry2018.

Thanks for bringing this up.

It could be that something is wrong with the software of your Fitbit. What device are you using to track your activities? Also, when did this start happening?

In the meantime let's try to restart your Fitbit. That should definitely help in resolving any software issues that could be happening.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

It seems to only track aerobic activity when my Fitbit shows ''cardio burn'

When it only shows 'fat butn' it doesn't seem to track so I suppose I have to have my heart rate at a certain level before it will track any aerobic activity.

Yep..my cardio is a out 40 min also....I was thinking maybe my heart rate wasn't getting high enough, but I checked previous activity and heart rate was about the same....wondering if I have to 'start" for aerobic be activity like I do for weights but can't figure out how as it says it's on auto when it hits10 min miniumin activity so beats me!

Hello @Sherry2018 and @Smoczek82.

In this case, the best thing will be to manually set your Fitbit to start tracking an activity. At least as a workaround. You can read more about it in this article.

As for the automatic tracking, maybe you could try tightening the strap a bit more, and moving it up your arm, so that the Fitbit gets a better HR reading and movement feel.

Was there any change in the routine? Maybe the change in the routine could cause the Fitbit to not recognize it as an aerobic workout.

Let me know if there are any further questions.
