Some bugs on Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

I noticed at least two bugs on the Fitbit app.

First after having swum, the Fitbit app tells me that I swam 1800km instead of 1800m.

Then, today between 7 and 8 PM (so in 60 minutes), I was 86 minutes in active zone. How is it possible?

Did someone notice the same bugs?

Hi, @gedeon555 welcome to the community, you may find this article of interest What are Active Zone Minutes or active minutes on my Fitbit device? which explains the detail of the data.

I'm swimming daily with a PW2 and Pixel 8 Pro and do not experience your issue with the incorrect distance. Your language setting may be the root cause, try changing it to English to see if it still displays the error. Let us know how you get on.

Cheers

There is indeed a bug with Active Zone Minutes.  See attached screenshots.

The Fitbit Dashboard shows me a total of 35 AZ minutes for this exercise, so the bug appears to be in the Android app.

CORRECTION: The Dashboard shows me 'Active Minutes', not 'Active Zone Minutes'.  The correct total should be 27 + ( 8 x 2 ) = 43

As the Dashboard doesn't give me comparable values I can't tell if the bug is in my Charge 6, in the Android app, or on the cloud processing side.

Further information - just to make everything more complicated.

See attached - screenshot of the Dashboard for this exercise.  The Active Zone Minutes total displayed in the Android app does match the maths associated with the zone minutes info on the Dashboard, but these zone minute totals don't match those in the app.  There's definitely a bug here but I can't tell if it's on the Dashboard side or the app side.

It would be helpful if the App version is part of the thread.   It seams to take a month or longer for everyone to get the latest app  4.06.

Thank you!

Good point.  Issue observed on Android app version 4.04 (110006463) and relates to an exercise event that occurred on Dec 27th.

I just now checked for app updates but was not offered any, and the app was last updated on Dec 3rd, so you're right - if the latest version is 4.06 it hasn't been made available to everyone yet.
