@Jmuld @Gabe80 @Dragonfruit At this time, the Sony Xperia E5 is currently not on our list of supported devices. This means that our Android team has not yet fully tested it for compatibility and added it to the list. I recommend setting up and syncing via a device listed as supported or using a computer.
Our Android team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates! I will also make sure to update everyone in this thread when theSony Xperia E5 is added to the supported devices list.

Hi @Jmuld. Were you able to pair and sync your Charge 2 to your Sony? Are steps and everything else working as they should? Please let us know. If everything else is fine, you can always contact Customer Support to verify that your Sony is compatible for phone notifications. Good luck!

Xperia E5 is not on the compatible device list, this is not good news and is not surprising as the list of supported devices is very short and mostly comprised of older models.

I an glad I found this note tonight. I took a train trip to Glasgow today especially to buy a fitbit. I settled on the fitbit charge 2. I asked the fitbit technician if she would set it up on my android -- Experia -E5. She was very sweet and helpful. She charged the fitbit then downloaded a google fitbit ap on my phone. It took an hour to do this because the John Lewis signal was poor. I filled in all the vital statistics and did the email verification. She was puzzled that it had not sync'd with my phone. She was about to try again but I needed to catch my train and said I would try and finish what was necessary to get it working when I got home. I've tried everything. All I get on the fitbit is www.fitbit.com/setup moving across the screen. I was happy to find the note above. Even though this means I've bought a fitbit that I can't use at least I won't waste more time and get more frustrated than I've got already, evidently trying to do the impossible. I wonder if it might be helpful if you could make your sales team aware of the incompatibility issue. I'm a little annoyed. It will take me five hours to travel back and forth between here and Glasgow to return the device to the John Lewis store. Is there any fitbit device that will sync with my Sony Experia E5? Thanks for your help.
