Stars ⭐ for favorite food!

We used to get a Star :star: next to a favorite food when using the search bar. This feature vanished last year. It was very usefull, and I would love to see it return. I've already posted on the requested features board, so please find it and vote for the return of stars.

Hi there @Ellyenne, good to see you around and thank you for your feedback. I appreciate your initiative to post your idea: STARS bring back the stars in search on our Feature Suggestion board. Our product team looks forward to reading and incorporating your suggestions into future versions of Fitbit trackers and apps.

As an additional note on our online-Dashboard the star still is available to choose your favorite food. You just need to log any food and on your food history, hover the mouse and you will be able to see the star.

On the Android this option is not available, since there is not a section for favorite food, as your favorite food will be display on the Frequent tab.

See you around and thank you again for sharing this with us.

I just want back what we had before.  The app was so much better when it put a star next to favorite items when you were running a search. Why did you remove this from the app?

I've also found that newer versions of the app have worse and worse search results.  When I'm searching for something, I will occasionally get completely different unrelated results.  I mean they are not even close!

I would also love an expansion of the available food items.  I eat Chinese, Korean, Mexican, Salvadorian, Thai, and Indian foods on a regular basis.  The database is devoid of international options.

And, the Android app does have favorite foods - you just have to scroll.
