@lkeel08, you don't say which Fitbit tracker you have, but if it is a wrist-worn tracker such as the Charge HR, Charge 2, Alta, etc., it will not be able to count steps while you are holding on to a stroller, shopping cart, or a push lawn mower. It depends on arm movement to detect steps. But, if you have body-worn tracker such as the One, Zip, or Flex 2 on a pendant, it will count steps pretty accurately while holding on to a stroller or shopping cart.
