I have a Pixel Watch 2 that I keep on 24/7 other than when I am charging it. I have an old HR Charge 2 that I have around my ankle when using my desk treadmill to count steps. Before hoping on the desk treadmill both devices have the same step count 2500. After walk HR 2 will have 4800 steps. I then try syncing and when it does the HR Charge 2 gets overridden with the 2500 steps on the Pixel Watch 2. I have tried syncing with both devices connected to the Phone. Also tried syncing with the Pixel Wacth 2 Bluetooth not connected to the phone. Once Bluetooth is turned back on the Pixel Watch 2 wipes the steps and the HR Charge 2 step count goes back to what the Pixel Wacth is.

@timps74 You really shouldn't wear two Fitbits at the same time. Fitbit says it tries to reconcile the conflicting data when you do it. In practice, you get the results you describe. Wear one device at a time. You should manually sync one device before switching to the other.
