(We are) I'em the champion...

I woke up @ 6 AM, and walk only for about  1/2 h and made 118,291 steps. Who can beat me? 🙂

In reality i was less tan 3,000 steps.

Why this is happening? Any Idea?

Hello @yurek99, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!

Thanks for the information and the screenshot that were shared in your post, seems odd that your device is randomly counting so many steps in such a short period. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if this issue was experienced once or you experienced this in the past several times?  If you haven't already done so, please restart your device and let me know if the issue gets sorted.

Keep me posted.

Ricardo, I noticed this issue few times. Always in the morning, around 7- 7:30 morning.

I'm just testing FitBit App using phone accelerometer - pedometer called by FitBit 'MobileTrack'. Strangely this issue is 'fixing' itself few hours later. As you see on my screenshot, there are 2 different value presented. In background there is 100000+, but when you select a day, it will pop-up proper value.

I will blame it on App, because another Apps using the same pedometer are showing correct value ( like this pop-up message)

Your reply is appreciated @yurek99.

Thanks for the additional screenshots that were attached into your post, this is certainly not a common situation. Can you please let me know which Fitbit device are you using? Also, which Android mobile device are you using to check your stats? Please try the following steps and let me know how it goes:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
  7. Let me know if the issue persists.

Looking forward to your reply.

I reinstalled App and i was OK but just for ONE day.

Now is back to 'normal', but it is started with lower number: I got 30000 steps today in 15 minutes

FYI:

- Android is up-to dat on Galaxy S9

As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm NOT using any FitBit devices. Just build-in phone step counter ( FitBit is calling it 'MobileTrack'
