Steps are not recording correctly

I steps are not being tracked correctly. There anything that I can do that may reset it? I'm literally walking and it's not registering my steps. Everything else is being registered. I may walk a hundred steps and it may only report 30, 40.

Hello there, @Newfitb1! Welcome aboard, it is really nice to see new faces around. Heart First, I would like to confirm that your tracker was successfully paired to your account. You can confirm this if you see the picture of your tracker when you tap devices on your account, like shown below.

Also, the restart would be the next step once you confirmed your tracker is paired. 

 

This should correct the situation with your steps.
