The last trail challenge (and the current one I'm on) is not recognizing all of my steps. These steps are all counted on my fitbit (charge 4. Nothing is manually being entered). As of right now I'm at about 15k for the day (these are fully recognized on my workweek hustle) but maybe 10% of the steps are counted on the trail challenge.
I've cleared the cache and data from my app, reset my fitbit, fiddled with the Bluetooth, and deleted the app and reinstalled it after restarting my phone.
I have seen other posts from years ago with the same issue but the recommended steps are not working for me.
What should I do next?

I am having the same issue. Started work week challenge. A portion of my steps are showing on the challenge but not all. I see them all on my watch and on the fitbit app but not updating for the challenge.

This has happened to me before personally and also with other Fitbit friends if the challenge I’m in was created in the same time zone I’m from. Usually the issue is resolved if ya quit the challenge, log out of the app, log back in and have a buddy invite ya back. I can’t promise it will work but it had indeed worked for me in the past.
If the challenge is in a different time zone then yourself: Do keep in mind that challenges are based on the time zone of the individual that created it so that also might explain the discrepancy. Example: if your time zone is two hours before your friends time zone and they created the challenge then your steps will only reflect when their time zone started. So the first two hours of your steps won’t show in the challenge. I hope that makes sense.

i am having the same issue it's driving me insane.
only on trails it shows me at like 1k-3k steps when ive done over 20k.
Anyone actually resolved this?
yes same timezone, same city even.
tried all the restart everything, re-pair device. log out log in, all device, app and phone fully updated. not manually inputting anything.
