Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Let me share with you that this is occurring because of the font size that's configured on your mobile device. Because such configuration is applied to any app that's installed on your phone, this is the reason why the step tile is shown in such way. Therefore, if you do not like to see the step count in that way, you can change the font size settings of your mobile device and let me know if the issue persists.
