Both my wife and i have fitbit blaze today we walked basicly same distance im on a walker she is not she did 2500 more steps then me

Fitbit Blaze detects steps by movement of wrist. If wrist is not swinging, steps will not be detected. That is common while pushing a shopping cart or stroller. One possibility is trying device in your pocket or pinned to clothing somewhere, though that will not get your heart rate.
