Set up fitbit 12/31/15 successfully. Began recording steps. On 1/2/16 fitbit began recording my steps for the day at 7am. By 1 pm that day fitbit recorded nearly 5000 steps. Approximately 4 pm the same day, I look and it now only showed a little over 2000 steps. I opened up the fitbit and it basically showed on the graph chart that I basically did not put on the fitbit until 4pm. The fitbit was charged fully. My phone is Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. What's going on.

Welcome aboard to our community @JCSpann. Certainly this is the first time I heard something like this. My recommendation is to check your Timezone setting is correct. Just to make sure your steps count is not resetting at a different time. Also try to sync regularly to make sure your steps are properly counted and updated on your account. I usually sync my tracker two times during the day, one in the morning and one time at night. Unfortunately you are not able to recover your missing steps but you can replicate a manual activity to log an average of steps that you had that day.

Let me know if this issue still is happening. I'll be around.Robot wink
