Still can't manually add workouts on the Fitbit app

Hi guys, since the last app update last week I am unable to manually add workouts. I have discovered I can add them on the Fitbit dashboard but that's closing on 8th of July. I contacted Fitbit support on X who told me my app wasn't the newest one,it was,is as I just updated it. Now Fitbit support just don't respond to me, I'm not the only one, others on there having the same issue. I have now purchased a Garmin Epix gen 2 but really disappointed that as a customer since 2014 Google seems to have spoiled Fitbit and is intent on wrecking all that Fitbit has done.

@Woodylolo   Do you use an Android or iPhone?  App issues are generally limited to one platform.  You post can get moved to the appropriate app forum, where it can get the attention it deserves.

I use Android but whilst on Fitbit support on X other users had the same issue on Apple as well.

@Woodylolo   I moved your post to the Android app forum, a better fit for this issue.  If Support acknowledged the issue, then it seems that Fitbit is aware of the problem.  Watch for an update that fixes the issue, but there isn't a time frame for the fix.

Thanks but no they didn't acknowledge the problem. They told me my app wasn't up to date, it is, I had done it before reaching out. In fact I think the update broke it along with other things looking on Reddit.

Have you tried manual logging in the app today? It is working for me now.

Hello @Woodylolo

As @PeaceLily mentioned, I'm seeing users report that they are now able to manually log an exercise and the app will generate steps and other data.

Please see if manually logging an exercise is working for you.

Hi @Woodylolo

Thank you for letting us know that you're also able to manually log your workouts in the app.

I'm glad that the Fitbit team was able to resolve this issue so quickly.
