Still won't sync after app update

Still won't sync.

 

I have updated to version 3.37.1, rebooted my Charge 4 and it will not sync.

 

Please advise as soon as possible.

I did as you instructed, the only additional step used was to re-add the device. Then syncing was possible.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

In my case, these instructions eventually worked, but only when I forced a restart of the Charge 4 tracker at the same time that the 'Add Device' feature of the Andriod app was looking for the tracker (I had earlier removed the Charge 4 from my Android based on another posting & then couldn't add the device back into my app).  Otherwise, the add device would not find the Charge 4.  Hope this extra step helps somebody else out there.
