Stuck on setup for new fitbit blaze

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So I tried setting up my FitBit Blaze on my Android phone, and with a bit of hassle it finally paired and attempted to do the update. However, the update stopped and the Blaze just went into an endless loop on the progress bar from about 50% to 75% then cycling back to 50% after apparently rebooting.

Any attempt to restart via holding down left and lower right keys did nothing. Eventually I just let it sit for about 2 hours and it finally just went to a flashing FitBit logo. I just let the battery die. The next day, I attempted to set it up via my Windows 10 laptop. The laptop was able to detect the Blaze, but when it asks for the 4 digit code, nothing appears on the Blaze display itself. Is this device defective?

@LenD It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! Seems odd that your Blaze can't be set up. Please make sure to restart your Blaze again 3 consecutive times as advised in this post. Once this has been done, try the setup process one more time. If the issue persists, please let me know if any error appears during the setup process.

See you later my friend! Smiley Happy
