Suggestion for racking custom foods and creating recipes

I feel like as you search for ingredients the app should reflect the nutrients should fill in the fields just like when we search for a good. Then after all ingredients you could choose a portion/ serving. www.livestrong.com has a feature called myplate. I believe there is a app for myplate.com. I'm not even going to fill this out. Just saying the app should allow each ingredient to to added as if you were logging ALL ingredients and then choose a portion. Impossible to utilize this on the fitbit app.
