Swimming log

I try to go for swimming regularly, the main issue with my surge, that it's not a swim proof, so I have to log my workout manually, which is annoying, as a result you will face another issue, the stupid app only accept your swimming distance in miles, so I need to switch from yards to miles (most swimming pools are 50 yards long) and whenever I'm done, the crazy app will show my distance in yards?!?!?! What's the point?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Chk. It's great to have you here. Currently, you can log yards for swimming activities through the online Dashboard only. I agree that it's necessary having this option in the Fitbit app too. You are welcome to join a discussion about logging yards from the Fitbit app. Once any update is available, it will be communicated as soon as possible.

If you would like to share ideas to improve Fitbit products you can always create a new thread in the Feature Request board

I moved this thread to the Android app board because it's more related to the topic. Hope to see you around more often. Smiley Very Happy

Someone needs to update the options to allow for submission of Meters OR Yards when manually logging in swims on BLAZE.

I swim in a pool that is 25 YARDS.  With my Blaze, I can only log swimming activity by using Kilometres or Miles.  So I constantly need to convert.  The real problem is that the Blaze swim section only provides one decimal point.  For Kilometers OR Miles, this is so far from precise, and particularly affects the calculation of Calories burned.  Right now, I'm swimming approx. 750 yards in 22 minutes.  That translate into either .6858 kilometers or .426136 miles.  If I submit for .7 kilometers, that translates into 766 yards (or 16 yards more than I swam) on Blaze's Swim.  If I submit for .4 miles, that translates into 704 yards (or 46 yards less than I swam) on Blaze's Swim. This is all inaccurate and thus I am given an inaccurate calculation for min/sec for swimming 100 yards.

It's a mess.  I am unable to accurately assess my progress in speed.  Please allow for submitting either yards or meters, NOT miles and kilometers.  Miles & Kilometers is NOT how recreational swimmers measure their swims!!!!!  PLEASE!!!!
