Switching Google Accounts

Hey, I have used Fitbit connected to the same Google account for about 3 years. I no longer use that Google account (if it is inactive for too long then Google deactivates then deletes it).

Is there a way to either:

- export the data from the old account and create a new account and import the data

- switch Google accounts without having to export the data

I don't want to loose my last three years of data 😞

Thank you 🙂

I doubt I can help you, but I don't quite understand your situation.  Have you stopped using Fitbit but still want to be able to look at your data some time in the future if the occasion arises?  If so, I would think just logging into your Google account where the data exists occasionally would be enough to keep Google from deciding to delete it.  Alternately there is an option to export your data, but I don't know anything about the format or how easy it is to read or access.

Or, are you still using Fitbit but from a different Google account?  If so, you are probably wanting to combine the 2 data sets in the same database.  I don't think that is possible but you would  be best calling  Fitbit Help for that problem.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
