I keep getting a sync error message. I have reset my tracker, charged it, restarted the app, and nothing works. It's been a couple days now and it's still giving the same message! Help!

Hello @Mark_In_BC@OZthegreat, and @Scotths!

@Mark_In_BC It seems to be related to the fact that the OnePlus 5T is not a supported device at the time. That would explain why it is syncing with the tablet. Hopefully it continued to do so.

@OZthegreat, in that case it would be the same process. The same Fitbit would be treated as being a replacement. Nothing will be different in the process.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I put my fitbit app on my phone and everything worked fine for the 3 weeks I've had the Versa. Then I decided to add music to my watch, so I installed the app on my computer. Every since, I've gotten a sync error. It won't sync on my phone or my computer! If I set it up as a new device, will I lose all the data it's collected over these 3 weeks?

Welcome to the Forums @Sunny_Day.

Thanks for sharing those details and questions. I apologize for the delay in my response.

If you set up as a new device all information that has already synced will not be lost. It will remain on your account as it has already been synced to our servers.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Too late. I've abandoned my Fitbit and have already purchased an Amazfit Bip.

Thanks so much! This worried perfectly (after 2 days off no syncing your tip did the trick).

I ended up tossing the thing out and getting a better model. For fitbit I'd
suggest the Versa 2.

When turning Bluetooth off and back on doesn't work, I go (on Android) to Settings/Apps and Force Stop the Fitbit app. I do that a couple of times a week when it stops syncing. This has been true across 3 phones, different manufacturers (but all Android). HTH.

If your device doesn't sync:
Force quit the Fitbit app on your phone. For instructions, see the Apple help article or Android (Google) help article.
On your phone, go to Settings. Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
Open the Fitbit app and try to sync your device.
If your device doesn't sync, restart it.

Regards,
Peter
