I have a new Charge 3. I bought it in the US and it synched just fine to my Moto G6. (Both with my parent's WIFI and the hotel WIFI where I was staying)
I am now home in Israel. It will not sync using my home WIFI, and using data (which is not my preference) doesn't work regularly.
I have tried everything suggested... starting and stopping the app, logged out.. (BTW, it won't even let me log into the app with WIFI only).
Suggestions?

On the charge 3 there's a reset button under settings, about, scroll down to clear user data, click on that to click the check that allows the watch to reset. You'll have to Re-connect your Bluetooth connection and the notification settings on the Fitbit app. Hope this helps! I did not lose any data through this process except the days when my phone wasn't syncing.
