As of Aug 25th my charge 2 also stopped syncing.  Spent an hour on a chat with a FITBIT rep.  Using a dongle it will sync with my PC.  I had no problem syncing for a year an a half with my Charge HR, the last 3 months all fine with my Charge 2.  FITBIT says they can't do anything, my phone is not on their compatibility list.  To me it looks lie the issue is the new APP version 2.56.  Anyone know how to get back to Version 2.55?

Welcome to the Forums @Andie1995. Hello @RRT.

@Andie1995 That must be quite frustrating. I'd recommend that we try the following to get it to sync once again:

  1. Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile and then delete your tracker from that list.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and go into the account tab.
  3. Select the 'Set Up a New Device' option and run the whole setup once again.

After that, your Fitbit should start syncing once again. Additionally I'd like to ask you to let me know what is the mobile device that you are using to sync.

@RRT, Thanks for sharing your experience. Please keep in mind that whenever a device is not supported it means that we're not able to guarantee that it will work 100% of the time, even though it might. This is because the app it not optimized to run with the mobile's specific hardware and software.

Feel free to let me know if there are any further questions.

Isn't that something?  That did the trick. Would have thought reloading the app (twice) it would have done the same thing.  I am extremely grateful for your expertise. More than words can express. I have a Motorola Moto G 3rd generation (16g internal memory). Thank you VERY much!!!!!!
