Charge 5 has been syncing steps wrong for days. This morning it synced some steps but that's it. Now it won't even connect.
I've rebooted phone several times, reset Bluetooth, force stopped app. Nothing works.

I tried all of the troubleshooting steps for my Inspire 2: check versions, remove app.....I removed the Inspire 2 from the android Fitbit app, deleted user data from the Fitbit and was able to re-add/pair the Inspire 2 to the Fitbit app.

Hello @Disappointed555
Lets see if setting your Charge 5 up again will resolve the problem. You will only lose the data from your last successful sync to the Fitbit App. Otherwise all your other data is stored on the Fitbit servers. Please follow the instructions closely and do not skip a step.
First make sure you have the latest Fitbit App version on your phone then log out of the Fitbit App. Now force shut the app by taping the three lines in the bottom left corner of your screen then tap close all if your on Android. Also make sure your phone is updated to the latest version as well. Now go to the Bluetooth on your phone and remove Charge 5 from your Bluetooth. Just tap Charge 5 then tap forget (or unpair) even if it says it’s unconnected. If your Charge 5 doesn’t appear on the Bluetooth list at all just proceed to the next step. Now restart your phone and then log back into your Fitbit App, tap your profile picture then scroll down and tap Set Up A Device. Pick Charge 5 in the list of trackers then simply follow the onscreen instructions. When your asked if you want to replace the Charge 5 say yes.
😃 I hope this resolved your syncing issues and this provided you the best answer to your question. Please let me know.

This site is bad too, should be able to remove 'best answer' for when it's accidentally clicked.
I did all of this and nothing helped here either, thank you megabite.
I was about to remove the app when I tried it once more. This time it worked. I guess it just needed a time-out. My phone and app have not been updated. So who knows, but thank you everyone.

I’m so happy it all worked out in the end for you @Disappointed555! 😃 I’m sorry you had to do it twice but persistent payed off for sure. Now it’s time to just enjoy the rest of your evening. Happy Stepping to you!
