Sync with GoogleFit for Glucose & Food

After migration of fitbit to Google account, it seems that steps / exercises / sleep etc are automatic and no longer require Fit-to-Fit or another app for doing so.

But it looks like it's one-way transfer still? I have my CGM syncronized with Google Fit and I can see my glucose in GoogleFit app, but FitBit app doesn't show any data. Given that Fitbit App only allow manual and OneTouch sensors, why can't Fitbit just show all other data available via GoogleFit?

...

Also it seems that Food data logged into Fitbit is missing in GoogleFit. Fit-to-Fit still useful here 🙂

Because currently Google/Fitbit chose to make it a one way sync. To get your One Touch data, it syncs with Fitbit, not Google Fit.

Why can't they, they probably could, and maybe in the future will.

Yes, I figured that out. I just hope they will eventually hear us out.

Maybe at least publish API to push data into fitbit, at most - show aggregated data thru GFit...
