Synching problems with 2.74.2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since updating the app to 2.74.2 it does no longer sync to my fitbit versa. I have already reset the watch and reinstalled the app several times but it does not help.

When I reinstall the app it synches for a few times, but then seems to be stuck with syncing (loading bar pauses at about 10%) until I reinstall again.

The really weird part of this is, that the app most of the time shows the correct step count but does not safe it to the fitbit-website.

As I had no problems in the weeks before, this leaves the update to blame. Please fix this issue. Anyone else having synching problems since 2.74.x please join in, so that this matter is taken seriously.

Having same issue

I am also having the same issue with my fitbit ionic.  Starting this morning, my fitbit would no longer sync.  I updated my app from the google play store to the latest version (2.74.2) and the problem still persists.  I even tried removing the device from my fitbit account and pairing it again via bluetooth on my phone, but it could not detect it. The only way I was able to sync was through the app on my desktop computer, so therefore it must be an issue with the mobile app.

Same problem here, Nokia 6 Android 8.1, no sync whatsoever.

Just a heads up: I went to the Bluetooth settings on my device and next to my Versa, I selected "forget". I then restarted the app and it worked. Not sure if it will work for you, but it is worth a try.

Having the same issue.

Plus the detail that I tried to check the Wi-Fi settings and apparently it is off in my Versa and I don't manage anyhow to turn it on again.

And in the Wi-Fi settings of the app, it keeps loading infinitely and I get nothing.

Last time my Versa synced was one week ago 😕

Hi I had the same problem with my Versa and my Huawei P Smart but I feel I have sorted it. I unpaired from my Bluetooth on my phone and as long as it shows up on available devices when the Bluetooth is switched back on just then go into the Fitbit app and it should work!! I have had no problems with it as yet but it is only the second the day and it still works so I’m happy as it would work once set up but not after!! So simple really don’t pair it to your phones Bluetooth!!

@SunsetRunner An interesting thought.. I just checked my Ionic and it doesn't show a pairing to the phone.. It syncs perfectly..

Go to your Bluetooth settings and remove your versa from there. It is
usually under "Settings/Connected Devices"

My Fitbit One is not syncing with any of my devices since Monday.  Is it no longer supported by Fitbit?  Is there nothing I can do to keep using my Fitbbit One?

@SunsetRunnerIt has to be something else.. My Fitbit One always syncs to my non-compatible phone.. Quicker than the Ionic, probably because there is not as much data.

If your One has been working up until Monday.. What was the variable ?... the App Upgrade ?

@julianaabibiano Well done and what did you do?

Also Fitbit holds 7days of daily data and 23 days of summary data. Then the oldest day drops off.
