Hello @Marvinlives,
I had this problem at first with my Fitbit charge HR. I first restarted my phone, and removed the battery too. Then, I turned it back on to try and see if the bluetooth issues were fixed. Unfortunately they weren't, but my device synced fine to my PC and iPad.
I then concluded it was a bluetooth issue with my phone. I factory reset and the issue was fixed.
One thing I found out is that the app its self is not at fault, but instead it was my faulty samsung handset!
Hope I helped!
-Josh

@Marvinlives A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! So sorry to hear that your Charge HR is taking a while to sync with your phone. I'd like to follow up on this and would like to know if the great troubleshooting steps that my friend @JoshRiley shared, helped to get this issue sorted out.
Looking forward to your response my friend!
