Syncing Zip to Fitbit Android app

Hi,

My new Fitbit Zip (v.2.92) will not sync to my Android 9 phone. I removed and reinstalled the battery. Nothing seems to work. Please help.

It is an ongoing issue that they are aware of. I also have a Zip and it hasn't synced since the last Android update. In order to sync I have to remove the battery and then reinstall it. Right now I do that every couple of days to keep updated. I am hoping they will come up with a fix!

I find that clearing the Fitbit apps cache is usually enough. 

Phone settings - apps - Fitbit - storage - clear cache

 

I also so the Fitbit app while in the phone's settings
