Syncing difficulties with LG G6 and Charge 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I know this is like the 10th billion post about this, but am hoping someone can help.

I have an LG G6, which according to Fitbit website is compatible. However, since my phone's software update (currently running OS 9), my Charge 2 hasn't been syncing consistently. I have lost a lot of data from this as well, sometimes I won't have my sleep recorded. But I feel like I've tried everything.

I have reset my Charge 2

I have factory reset my phone

I have made sure that my phone is running the current Fitbit app and that my Charge 2 has the current software

I have played around with my Bluetooth settings and have changed the Bluetooth AVRCP version

I have unpaired my charge 2 and repaired it

I honestly have no idea what else I am suppose to do. If anyone has any idea I would be greatly appreciative.

Thank you!

Mine went out Thurs night.  Nothing on the phone.  Was on Chat-session was disconnected twice (not really impressed with that.) I have an A50, but I had a G6 up to a few months ago.  Went down occasionally, but usually came back on.  Chat told me to turn Fitbit off and on, reset phone, etc.  Nothing worked.  Now, I have no connectivity at all.  Thank you for all the advice, Fitbit!  Back in May, they told someone their techs were working to sync the A50 and the Fitbit app.  MAY!

Hello @rose5821 and @Joan221, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delayed reply.

First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this issue prior to posting, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes. Make sure to use a compatible mobile device too.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
