Using a Samsung a50 and the versa lite has been synchronising always with some difficulties. But now it stopped altogether. The Bluetooth cannot connect and the phone cannot connect either. It is probably the same but stopped connecting. I have tried all Fitbit suggestions to no avail.
i feel I am left with an expensive gadget which does not provide proper service.

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes. Keep in mind that the Samsung Galaxy A50 is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you can experience some connection difficulties with your phone and the Versa Lite.
