I have to restart my phone (Verizon Galaxy note 9) every day to get my watch to sync. Sometimes multiple times a day.
Force stopping the app doesn't work, restarting my watch doesn't work. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesn't work.
I have read other posts and your link to the sync trouble shooting page contains no helpful information.
I can't believe I have to wait until I miss a call or text to realize that I have to restart my phone once again to get my watch to sync. This is why I bought this watch.
It is absolute rubbish that my $150+ Fitbit has worse connectivity capabilities than the $35 off brand watch I got on Amazon for my 8 year old.
Is there an update in the works for this issue?

Hi @Gilby22, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and troubleshooting your device prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Then, please try the following steps since the ones that are specified on our help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? were already tried:
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

I know this is an old post but I've suddenly started having this problem. I've done all of the above steps. My watch is all of a year maybe a year and a half old and I've reattached my watch over and over and over for the past week. I've reset Bluetooth, I've forgotten it as a device, I've completely removed all devices including my scale and reattached which is a serious problem bc every time im sure its going to go kaput and not recognize it for the last time. It will only reconnect if it's fully charged and attached to the charger, even then sometimes it won't reconnect. It takes trying over and over and then the sync holds for anywhere from 5 minutes to a few hours. I have looked at every setting in my fitbit app and I cannot find the always connected setting that I've always had on since I got my first versa 1 anymore. The updates have apparently buried this setting and even googling it I can't find an answer as to where it is now. My mom's versa 1 has been going for the same period that my versa 1 died and now my versa 2 seems to be doing the same thing. 3.5 years and 2 watches seems crazy. What's wrong with mine. We use it the exact same way and she has 1 Galaxy Note newer than me. Can I fix this or should I consider a new brand of wearable?
