Syncing difficulties with Versa 2

My wife gave this for  Christmas. I wished she had saved the money. I have wasted way to much time trying to address syncing issues.  Currently the device only syncs if I shut it down and restart.  The Verse 2 is no more to me than a very expensive pedometer

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and personal experience with your Versa 2, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To further investigate this situation, can you please specify which phone are you using with your Fitbit? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

 

Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
