I can't just sync on my Android phone. Every few days, I have to plug in to the computer and do a full restart. I've followed the below steps continually.
Is this normal to have to do so often? It would be helpful to just be able to swipe down on the phone and have it sync as it is supposed to do. Is there something wrong with my fitbit?
Thanks!
For Android devices:
- Close the Fitbit app and open it again. A sync should occur whenever the app is opened.
- Turn off Bluetooth, turn it back on, and then open the Fitbit app.
- Reboot your mobile device and then open the Fitbit app again.
- Restart your tracker again.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.
- Consider using the All-Day Sync setting. This prompts your tracker to periodically sync with the Fitbit app but may cause increased battery drain on your mobile device or tracker.
- Try syncing with your computer.

Welcome to the Community Forums @DVDISNEY, thanks for bringing this to my attention.
I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post, thanks for troubleshooting this matter prior to posting too, certainly your device isn't working as the way it was designed. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android mobile device you're currently using to sync your Fitbit? Also, which Fitbit device you have? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

My phone isn't recognizing the fitbit device at all now. I can't sync to the computer either.
