I am sick of this app not syncing with my phone. It worked great for several months and then stops working. It notices calories burned but not steps or miles. I would not recommend the flex fitbit to anyone. Very frustrating.
What the device model and Android version? It works fine on my phone with Android 4.3

Should we have to do this daily? I've talked to people with apple products who NEVER have to manually sync. EVERY DAY when I go for a run, my watch cannot connect to my phone. I jump through a thousand hoops to go for a run because it won't sync. I have bluetooth enabled all the time, have tried various apps to work around fitbits problems, and it just will not stay in synch daily.
The problem is that it loses permission every day when it goes to quiet mode at night. This needs to be fixed, and until it does, you have to go in and give the apps permission every day. It's a royal headache.

Hello there @Magnanimity5, good to see you round. It been a while since you posted, so first of all want to offer you an apology and allow me to ask you how it goes so far?
Note when you have active the option of All-Day Sync, your tracker should sync as soon you turn on the bluetooth on your device. I curious to know with device you are using, if is iOS or Android, but in my personal experience I use the Android app and it syncs with no troubles. In case the issue still persist let me know which device you are using and perhaps I can share some more ideas with you.
See you around and keep me posted.

Have a simple way to deal with this problem, you can transfer them to computer, as simple as transfer android messages to computer , then, it can backup on the computer, also ,the android phones and computers are synchronous,

It would be easily fixed by upgrading to Android 6.0. After that, you can sync or transfer data as many as you can.

I have the Fitbit Charge HR. I have done everything recommend. None of the recommendations work. I would NOT recommend the Charge to anyone. Thankfully I didn't purchase it. It was given to me.

I also have a new Fitbit Versa, and its a crap. Not the watch alone but the app wont sync. And if it does its just as long as I dont connect something other to my phone (Bose soundsport wireless for example) then it start to bogus and dont sync at all. Must restart everything or reinstall the app etc. Dont need your fancy welcomes and american smile... just make your apps and products working together. Its not the cheapest watch so It should work. Otherwise I will never choose this brand again. Using Droid Turbo - No I wont buy Samsung or other dumbphone just because of this fancy watch. Love original first Droid Turbo and its still unbeaten even in 2018. Very disappointed for that watch, and I can see on these forums many, many people have the same issue. Such a shame.

Ditto....same phone and same issue. Takes the fun out of trying to run on my treadmill and beat a previous goal. It would be nice to look down at my phone as I'm running. I'm pretty sure this dumb Versa is going to cause me to break my neck one day. Same issue while riding my bike. Dread trying to sync it daily.
