Syncing issue

Android phone, Blaze tracker. Repeated and regular issues syncing. Blaze has one step total, fitbit widget has another, and app dashboard yet another total. Been trying to sync for 6hrs. Forced stopped app, cleared cache, restarted phone, cleared cache, turned Bluetooth off/on, unpaired tracker, paired again - no success! I also get a message at times stating that there is an issue with Bluetooth and if I want to restart. I only receive this message when in fitbit app. HELP!

Having tried restarting your phone without any luck, I would try restarting your fitbit by:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

It's worth trying this a few times as it's known to not always work.

Another thing to try is to "forget" the fitbit in your phone's bluetooth settings - this has worked for me more than once.

Is the Blaze 'restart' method any different than going through settings and choosing "Shutdown"? I've shutdown my tracker many times. I've also unpaired tracker and paired again, many times. Everything finally synced just before midnight last night.

I'm not sure. It's tempting to think a shutdown/start does the same as a restart as that's what we are used to with computers but I've not seen any posts that suggests that's how it works with fitbits. That's why I always recommend the restart process.

Blaze hasn't synced in 7hrs, have restarted as instructed, still no sync.
