I am always moving from one place to another and getting a reliable wifi signal is not good. Does my charge 2 have to be connected to the internet to sync. I thought it would just bluetooth to my phone and work.

As soon as I have no internet signal I might as well forget it. Or is there something in settings that can help

Yes, @Doorbasher, your app requires Internet access to sync with the Fitbit servers. The app uses Bluetooth to connect to your Fitbit tracker, and the Internet to update the data to the Fitbit servers. So, you must have both Internet and Bluetooth access.

Thanks for the update. I get it now. What we have is two seperate systems in one package. The problem I had was that the charge 2,  did not appear to be updating or communicating without the internet access. I will monitor it more closely Thanks for your update
