I have a Samsung Galaxy 7 and my Fitbit Alta is only showing the word 'Messages' when I get a text message. Is it not supposed to show the name & partial message or is that for the upgraded version  of th e Fitbit?

Hello @Tiffiney1980, good to see you again. Have you tried any workaround on your own so far? If you haven't I recommend to follow these steps to troubleshoot Call/Text Notifications.

 

Make sure you are running the latest version of the Android app too, which is 2.43.

 

To see what version of the Fitbit app is installed on your device:

  1. Tap the menu button.
  2. Tap Help.
  3. Tap Fitbit App.
