Text message not displaying on a Surge via Samsung Galaxy Note5

I've searched, found, and read many of the articles and forum discissions about the issues I'm having but nothing has helped so far. I realize the Android based Samsung Galaxy Note5 is not on the compatibiity list but I have been able to get the Music Control to work and I do get a Notification that I have received a Text Message, but neither clicking on the Action button or tapping on the screen shows the actual text.

Has someone figured out a solution given I have a Samsung Galaxy Note5 and a Surge?  If it's a simple matter of incompatibility then I'll have to get a differnt phone or wait until Samsung updates their firmware to support the Surge fitbit.  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

@jayflow It's great to see you both in the Community! I'm so glad to hear that your Surge is working wit your Galaxy Note 5 now. Since this device is new, there might be possibilities that it will work with your Fitbit even though it's not in the supported devices list. the Note 5 will eventually be added. However, there is not time-frame for this to happen.

I wanted to update my status on this issue but I have been able to receive notifications on my Surge. I can read text messages and I can tell who's calling me. I can also see the song's name playing on my Galaxy Note 5 and control the music being played. I wish I could recall the exact steps I used but I know I removed the fitbit application on my Galaxy Note 5 and the fitbit installed on my laptop which I initially used to set things up.  I reinstalled fitbit only on my Galaxy Note 5 and started from scratch.  I also added a second bluetooth service so now there is a bluetooth service caled  "Surge" and "Surge (Classic)".  I then went through every application and service on my Galaxy Note 5 and made any changes where I thought it might impact notifications or other functional issues with the Surge.  In any case I'm happy with how the Surge is working and I can only wait to see what other functions I may be able to use when Samsung or Fitbit update their firmware.
