After the most recent update I stopped getting text notifications. In the past I have noticed that the update turns this setting off and I have to go back in to fix it. This time it told me since my ringer is off I cannot receive the notifications. I find this ridiculous considering the reason I want the text notifications is BECAUSE I need to keep my ringer off. Not on vibrate, but off. What's the point of being able to get discreet notifications if I'm forced to also let my phone make noise 🙄

Same issue here. I keep my phone on silent to be discrete, I don't need it vibrating or ringing while it is sitting on my desk at work.
edit: Looks like they are working on a fix.

I turn all my audio controls to the very lowest without being off, so I can't hear my phone, but my Versa vibrates and I can still check calls, email and texts. But I also have to ensure that Do Not Disturb is also off.
