The Fitbit food tracker has some serious bugs

I have been using the Fitbit food tracker and have found a few pretty serious bugs. I'm happy to report these if someone can direct me where, however my previous experiences with reporting issues is that Fitbit will sit on them and not do anything with them.

It begs the question though, does Fitbit do any QA testing at all before releasing features to market? There's so many bugs and missing features that in 2021 should be there as standard.

Off topic, but a serious complaint in this. In Dutchlandshire we don't even have a Dutch food tracker database. We have to deal with England, France or Germany, as if they have the same supermarkets as we have.... But we still pay the full price for a FitBit premium membership.
And yes, I subscribe to your complaint about so many bugs and missing features, and to never hear something about them again. I have two tickets running, of which the oldest is three months old.

It's ridiculous, I like Fitbit Premium and they have good content, but the app is so lacking it's not funny. No ChromeCast support for video workouts and my personal favourite, no dark mode, so when you go to do a sleep meditation your blasted by bright, white light (bad for melatonin production).

I've got a premium subscription, too (and I really pay, no free trial). But 2 software issues, no fitting food database, no Alexa. No dark mode either (but I guess nobody has that, but I'm absolute happy when that will come). Artificially Intelligence is as intelligent as 'Whoa, you walked xxx more steps than last week' (as if I don't know myself). Do you get more useful insights through Artificially Intelligence?

Have you added your vote to the chromecast suggestion

My tracker has Alexa and I can check my fitbit steps from any Alexa device in the house or phone.

@Rich_Laue You live in America. Dutchlandshire is a small country that is not important to Big America. I pay the same as everybody else. But no, Alexa is not rolled out here by FitBit.

I have added my vote. But it's silly and shortsighted that in 2021 that it's not there already, it should be a given that any app that plays audio or video in 2021 should be able to Cast. Fitbit has good content, but their delivery vessel absolutely sucks.

It's similar to the lack of dark mode. You can't have sleep meditations in your app and have the gateway to those meditations be copping a face full of White, bright light. It's just counterintuitive.

This is all basic stuff. This all should've been picked up in testing before releasing the app to the market. You shouldn't need to take user suggestions for these "features".
