Hi when I go into data the calories have become the central focus. My steps have disappeared entirely. What did I do and how can I undo it?

I presume you are talking of the Fitbit App.
Press and Hold Calories, the display will change and you can move the icons about.
Press done when finished.

A second reason for not seeing the step tile is if the tracker has been removed from your Fitbit account. You may want to check your device list @wsunter
