The new app doesn't have glucose option

Glucose tracking disappeared in this new updated app. Today + does not have glucose option. Manage Features shows Turn Off option meaning the app knows my goals but nowhere is provision to manually input glucose for the day. Tried the Force Stop Fitbit app, restart phone but no change.

HELP please!!!

A couple of days ago my glucose monitoring tile dropped off my versa dash board. I happened same time the Fitbit had a new upgraded look.  I cant figure out how to get it back. Help!

----

Ok I got it fixed using the Fitbit help chat function.  Turns out uninstalling the app and loading it back on fixed my issue. No-one seems to know why it happened, it is being called "a glitch"

Unfortunately, this solution didn't work for me. I still cannot locate any place to manually enter glucose readings. I see that it is active and can review my history prior to the update, but cannot now enter any new data. Two different contacts with customer support proved useless.

I finally figured it out. When you are on the Today screen on the app click
the pencil in right upper corner. It will bring up all the tiles you can
turn on and off. Scroll down to health metrics the last one is the glucose
tile. Turn it on and make sure to save.

It ended up tailoring my today options and removed several things I dl not
use as well.

Thanks for your explanation. Unfortunately, when I follow the
instructions, there is no glucose option in the health list.

I know was not happy that the glucose is not manual to put I the info. Why change if it worked.

It's good to see you participating in the community @SydneyVen @Ssomanit.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding this inconvenience with glucose.

Please, can you provide a screenshot about the today tab in the new app, where you are unable to see the glucose tile? since there are no reports about missing it in the new app.

In the meantime, I'd like to invite you to visit the article: How do I use the Fitbit app?.

Also, I'd recommend take a look on this other article: How do I log health information in the Fitbit app?

Tried to send screenshot he he..  says it violates etc... correct highlighted blah .... so can't send, but really quite simple, image shots not needed. When new app came, as normal, I scrolled to bottom looking for "Log glucose +" but not there. Saw "+" while Today icon highlighted and clicked but no add glucose option. Been looking ever since...

I am disappointed in the glucose monitoring in the new app. Not only is it not visible on the opening screen, the syncing with my One Touch meter is sketchy at best. Only three days out of 5 this week.

Thank you for responding @SydneyVen, and for trying to send me the screenshots. I appreciate it.

Please, try this time with this tips:

  • Go to the pencil Icon on the Today Tab
  • Scroll down until you find the glucose tile and turn it on
  • Tap Save.

To manually log your glucose level: (Once done the steps above): on the Today tab , tap the  icon on the glucose tile .

  • Enter your glucose level and additional details, such as your related symptoms.
  • Tap Save.

THATS what I'm saying. "Scroll down till you find the glucose tile...." that glucose tile is MISSING. So when I click on "+" to try & add it... glucose is NOT THERE as an option to be added. I say bring back the old version instead of insisting your new app isn't broken!!!! PLEASE!

Hello. Thanks for the follow up. Happens the same for me. I have a sense and even when you can put the lower/higher limits,  in the main screen it doesn't appear.

Hi Everyone.

Thank you for your patience in this issue.

As mentioned before, this difficulty was escalated to a higher team for its prompt solution.

Now I just want to confirm that the Glucose tile is now available (after adding it via the Edit menu, if required).

Best Answer

Nope... still not there, ie edit still doesn't have glucose switch...

Or do I need to uninstall/install (but I don't want to lose my historical data)

Best Answer

Hello @SydneyVen

You shouldn't lose any data if you uninstall, then re-install the Fitbit app. Your device is supposed to keep up to 7 days of data unless you do a factory reset/erase data. Just to make sure, you can do a sync just before you uninstall the Fitbit app so that your data is uploaded to your account on the Fitbit servers.

I hope that this will fix the issue for you.

OK, Uninstaller then re-installed the fitbit llc app. You were right... my historical data intact BUT the glucose option is still NOT THERE.

Edit still didn't have glucose.

Today + still didn't have glucose under health nor anywhere!!!

Conclusion: New app still BROKEN!
