Worked fine and then traveled to Colorado which is a different time zone. The surge changed time appropriately,. However, when we went back home the time never changed back and I no idea how to correct it. Ice synced, ran battery clear Down and nothing? Any ideas!

It's great to see you around @Nurserhine. If your tracker is displaying an incorrect time, I recommend changing your timezone to a different time, sync your tracker, put the correct time and sync your tracker one more time. To change your timezone, do the following from your Android Fitbit app:
1. Tap the Settings icon
2. Tap Account
3. Tap Settings
4. Turn off "Automatic time zone"
5. Tap Select time zone
6. Select your timezone
7. Sync
I hope this helps, let me know the outcome.

Fit Surge used to autocorrect time when it synched with your phone after you got off a plane and your phone updated it's time. FItbit, in their infinite wisdom, made the software only update if you change your time zone setting in the Dashboard so you have to log in to fitbit dashboard, go to settings and change the timezone, then resynch with the fitbit. As most people do not use the dashboard for control of the Fitbit device, this is a major step backwards and real pain in the rear for road warriors. It worked so much better before you "fixed" this to the dashboard setting. The time should synch with the device it is talking with instead of having to make the process so cumbersome.
The idea of resetting the device doesn't work, it is conmtrolled by the dashboard setting.

Hey, @Baboo12, were you able to adjust the time of your Fitbit?
@KiwiRobyn, thanks for your help, you are awesome!
@SDD8519, so you are not being able to update the timezone using your phone, you have to do it using a computer?
Please provide us as much details as you can so we can further investigate.
I'll be around.

Hello,
I have the same story. I have tried your solution and it still has not corrected it. I have tried clearing cache, selecting time zone, turning auto zone off and on, syncing multiple times, letting the battery die, recharging and syncing, nothing is working to get the correct time zone. I have always loved my fitbit and am loyal customer, but this is really irritating, please help me! 🙂

I tried this. I also set the time zone manually and synced it. It was wrong when I went to NYC. And some how it switched to ET and reported CT. When I returned to Central Time. Now it's set for NYC.
