My time and date changes and it takes a while for it to correct once I have reset/sync it with my phone... have to sync them a couple of times. I even have to play around with the settings. Every time its goes dead it happens. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a better way to fix the problem permanently?

@Rich_Laue @Bozzdivine Thanks for your input.
@Connibunni Welcome to the forums. Thanks for reaching out about the time and date on your Fitbit device.
Thanks for the explanation. First, I dont recommend you letting the battery go completely empty. This damages the battery and reduces its lifespan. Here is what I could find online:
What you should consider when charging lithium-ion batteries
- Avoid charging for several hours.
- Aim for optimal charge level.
- Avoid deep discharge.
- Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Never store the battery empty.
- Do not charge the battery unattended
In regards of the time and date, note that the internal clock of the device will stop when the battery discharges. That is the reason the time and date do not match, when you get your device back running. Syncing your device will correct both the time and date. I guess it takes a while for the device to sync all the data and then update the time and date. My suggestion is, do not let your device go dead. That will help with your battery life and the time and date will not have to be updated. If it happens again, my recommendation is keep syncing until it matches.

A few possibilities could be that your phone's battery might be close to its end, or there could be an issue with your phone's operating system.
A permanent fix might involve replacing the battery if it's dying, or updating/resetting your phone's software. If you're not comfortable doing this yourself, you might want to take it to a professional.
Also, if you've recently installed any new apps, they could potentially be causing the problem.
