Time zone switch wont stay "on"

I am using an HTC android phone with fitbit surge and no matter how many times I change the automatic time zone switch to "on" it always switches itself back to "off" each time I leave the app. this is very annoying as I travel outside the country every week and to get my watch to change zone with me, I have to reset the switch and manually synch every time.

Anyone have a solutions?

Make sure the latest fitbit app is installed. If not already done, feel free to uninstall the app and reinstall freshly.

When desired, it's possible to clear the fitbit app cache:

Welcome to the Community @Papa_Frere! Hmm this is pretty weird let me tell you. I'd recommend the same as @SunsetRunner, uninstall and reinstall the app this should solve the issue. Let me know how it goes I'll be around.
