The layout in the updated android version doesn't fit a google pixel phone screen. It's too large and cuts off all the info at the top of the screen. Very disappointing. I am a long time Fitbit user and the change I er to Google has not been an improvement

@Icesk8tr this is a known issue with the Fitbit app. The new version of the app, which is currently rolling out, fixes that. If you haven't received that update yet, you will soon.

Hi Lizzie.
I updated my app on December 9 and I'm still having the issue on my Google Pixel 8a. Is there another update to come?

What version of the app should we expect to be able to use the apps on our Pixel phones (Pixel 8 Pro for me)?

From Moderator posts that I've read, the Android app version that should include the fix for the cutoff screen issue is version 4.32.
That said, I got an update for the Android Fitbit app last week. However, when I checked the version, it showed 4.30 and the Play Store showed 09 Dec 2024 as the update date.

Hello @LizzyFitbit
Please see my reply. Like @Sarafits , I updated my Android Fitbit app last week, but it shows as version 4.30 in the app, not version 4.32.
Please advise.

@Shelleyp my Fitbit app was updated to version 4.32 this morning and that fixed this issue for me. I'm using a Pixel 9, BTW.

Hi everyone, and a warm welcome to @Sarafits.
Thanks for the additional information. While I'm unsure why a previous app version is now displayed on the Play Store, I appreciate your feedback and I'll make sure to keep our team informed of your experience.
Please keep waiting for the new update for the Fitbit app and make sure to install it once it's available for you. That way you can receive the fix and use the food tile to log your information.
@alexthecat and @RiekoC Thanks for the help!

I totally understand your frustration with the new layout on the Android app, especially if it doesn't display properly on your Google Pixel. It's disappointing when app updates cause issues like this, especially for long-time users who expect a smooth experience. Have you tried adjusting the display settings on your phone or reinstalling the app to see if that helps? Sometimes an update can cause display glitches, but reinstalling may fix the problem.

@nolanmaris
The issue has been fixed with the release of app version 4.32. Adjusting the display settings on the phone won't fix the issue.
App updates are released gradually, so not all users will receive the update at the same time.

Hello @LizzyFitbit
Just wanted to mention that I also finally got the Android app update to version 4.32 yesterday (18 Dec 2024).
Still, it's a bit puzzling why the previous update was version 4.30 with the 09 Dec 2024 date. 🤔

Hi @nolanmaris, and thanks for your insights.
As our friends mentioned, this issue has been fixed with the App version 4.32. If you haven't done so, please install it and check your Fitbit app to see how it goes afterward.
@gdio53 and @RiekoC I'm happy the issue got fixed and thanks for keeping me posted!
