I just finished a 8h 30min hike. I used Fitbit app to track the exercise using the phone GPS. When the hike was over I pressed the Finish button until the screen turned to green and a smiley ":)" popped up. I cannot see or find the tracked exercise anywhere, how to retrieve it?

Hi there @McSalomon, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry for the late response to your concern that your hike exercise is not in your exercise history.
It could be a delay to compile your data, so I'm wondering how it goes? was your exercise listed later on?
If you recorded your exercise using the app, I assume this was with the option of MobileRun. So I'm wondering if by any chance you paused the exercise at some point of your activity? There is a glitch affecting this portion of the app, causing the map doesn't save if you press the pause button. Steps and calories still will be counted, but the GPS data will not be stored.
If this was the case rest assured we are working on this to have a fix in the future. Unfortunately, there is no way to recover the GPS information.
You posted that you own a Charge 2; so if the issue still persists, I recommend to use the option Connected GPS to avoid this glitch. For more information please refer to this post: Connected GPS Information Post.
Let me know if you have more questions. I'll be around!
