I have an original Pixel Watch and a Pixel 7 phone. Because the way I walk means the watch doesn't record steps properly (no arm swing when you use a walking frame) I use my phone as a pedometer. I also start all tracked exercise on my phone because I prefer the interface.
Since last Thursday - part way through the day - tracked walks look like they are working, I get the summary at the end... But they never appear in my record.
Both phone and watch have been rebooted, problem persists.
Anyone got any ideas?
Just to add, tracking with my watch works and gets stored, and the interface has improved since I last used it, but the phone is still more convenient at times, and the phone using GPS seems to log different distances than the watch, despite the watch saying it's using GPS. As best I can tell, the phone is more accurate.
Best AnswerWas this due to the Fitbit App getting updated to 4.17?
Possibly. I'm not sure I can see when the update happened. Play Store seems to be saying, as of yesterday at some point, that the version available is 4.16, so I don't know if they did a rollback.
Best AnswerI tried 4 hours ago, still not working.
I have delete all the app data and relogin to have a try tmr.
Using samsung health to record my activites as a temp solution for my paid execise program.

The above steps not working.
Best AnswerSame problem here. Plus, the Pixel watch 2 will crash if you try to track a walks with the GPS on, so I basically can't track walks at all. It's so frustrating. I do wonder if fitbit had these problems before being purchased by Google. Think I'm going to not renew my fitbit subscription.
