Today I realized my fitbit flex2 was no longer communicating with my phone, and that it was due for an update. I have completed the update and now I am receiving a "tracker not found" error each time I try to sync. I have restarted Bluetooth and force stopped fitbit, reopened the app...to no avail. I really don't want to uninstall and reinstall the app as I had a lot of trouble after the last update, getting it repaired, yet again. Very dissappointed.

@AD1016, did you restart your phone after you installed the updated Fitbit app? It normally sends a message to the phone screen to advise you that the phone needs to be restarted after installing the app - did you get that message?

I did, just restarted my phone for the 5th time since 9am today. Tried opening the app and it finally updated. I wish every time there is an update for the app and tracker, that they wouldnt stop working like they do. Turns into more of a hassle than it should be!

Hi there @AD1016 and @nightswimming good to see you are visiting the Fitbit Community. Occasionally are release updates either for your tracker or the Fitbit app. These updates provide feature enhancements and product improvements as bug fixes, so I recommend to keep your your app and tracker updated all the time. Although as @USAF-Larry said, it might be require to restart your phone for the update is apply correctly.
As a side note there is a new version of the Fitbit app so I recommend to check this version.
@nightswimming beside of the new update of the app, I recommend to review this post also for syncing issues: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).
Keep me posted how it goes. I'll be around.
