I'm a bit puzzled by the lack of BP logging in the Fitbit app. I know that some Fitbit trackers can do an ECG scan, but as a cardiac patient I never found that very useful, while keeping an eye on my BP is way more important.
Is there a way to log the BP in the app or do I have to continue using a separate tool?

Hi @Catskinner61 - it does seem strange for a tool promoting health not having anywhere to include BP.
This is something that was raised long ago in the product feedback and after waiting developped my own spreadsheet to correlate it with other values.
It still has to be input manually but the advantage is you can do side by side comparisons in any way you wish, even if a Nokia BPM records it in the Withings app or other methods of recording.
Essentially you can build a better presentation of what's useful to you using Excel or Google Sheets for instance.

Hi, @Catskinner61 , a lot of us have wondered for a long time why there is no place to record your BP in the Fitbit app!
As you are an Android user you are now able to link your Fitbit App to another app that tracks blood pressure using Google’s Health Connect. You need to have your Fitbit connected to a Google account and to install Health Connect and link your 3rd party app (e.g. Omron Connect or Instant BP tracker).
You can find full details of how to set this up in this help article .

Hi @Julia_G , I know how to link my accounts and use 3rd party apps, I already do that with Garmin Connect and Google Fit. It's just that I can't understand why there is a ECG function, something which benefit practically no cardiac patient- and I should know since I'm recovering from a triple bypass surgery and still have to deal with arrhythmia, while recording BP is a basic vital that is used by a lot of people and not just cardiac patients.
I can already input my weight manually, so why is adding another manual input field for BP such a big deal?
