Tracking error

Hello there, whenever I track a hike, walk or run, the app doesn't save the activity. Initially it shows me the map, splits, impact, etc but once i go back to the exercise page, the app doesn't show the activity just recorded. It used to be fine, it's a real nuisance now. Please advise, thanks.

We are having the same problem with all our fitbit devices. None of them are tracking anymore, since yesterday at 2:00 pm Central Time.

It's been going on for more than a month for me! So irritating. I have the app's latest version so I really don't know what's wrong.

My son had a problem like that and contacted the company. They sent him a new device. Maybe you should send them your complaint. The company was very kind and took care of it quickly.

Well, funnily enough I had to buy a new fitbit because I lost my previous one. The problem stayed the same, it has nothing to do with the device. It's an issue with the app because I only have problems when I track run, walk or hike on my phone.

Same thing happening to me, get to the end of a walk, see the map until you go back into the main dashboard and then it's gone. A real pain especially if you've done a big or fast walk.

 

Seems to be on various forum posts, some going way back. @fitbit  please can you sort this bug out?

Most users are having success with this problem if they never pause then resume. Only pause and finish.

 

In saying that some users are still losing the data when they don't resume

 

To test without wasting a walk all you need is a minimum of one minute
