I have tried everything suggested on the Fitbit website under troubleshooting to get my Android phone and Fitbit syncing but to no avail.
I can't seen to get them to pair. What am I doing wrong?

@LeiJa Welcome! It's good that the community is growing!
Let me help you with your Alta HR not syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatible? You can try the following:
Remember that the bluetooth link is handled by the Fitbit app so if you removed the tracker you don't need to go to the bluetooth area and instead set it up via the app.
Let me know how it goes.

I initially contacted Fitbit because I could not sync my Fitbit with my phone but I have now realise that the Fitbit is damaged.
I would like to know whom to contact to get it fixed in Johannesburg, South Africa. I bought the Fitbit through an online store and they have a six months return policy.
They have advised me to contact Fitbit directly to get it repaired/replaced as it has a two-year guarantee.
